Behavioral Health & Recovery Services

Change is inevitable.
Healing is possible.

That's not a slogan we picked for a brochure — it's what we've watched happen, over and over, when someone finally gets the right kind of help at the right time. New Life Recovery and Community Services exists so more people get that chance.

The Community Need

Recovery shouldn't be harder to reach than the addiction itself.

We hear versions of the same story constantly: someone finally decides they're ready for help, and then spends weeks running into waitlists, paperwork, and closed doors. By the time they reach someone who can actually help, that window of readiness has often closed too.

We started New Life Recovery because we got tired of watching that happen. Here's what we keep seeing get in the way —

What We Offer

Care built around the whole person

Nobody's struggles fit neatly into one box, so we stopped treating them that way. These three areas work together, not as separate programs you get shuffled between.

        Not Sure Where To Start?

        Answer three quick questions

This isn't a diagnosis — just a starting point for the conversation. We'll always do a real assessment together before anything else.

Have you tried treatment or counseling before?

        Your Starting Point

        Our Approach

Grounded in evidence. Shaped by the person.

Every plan draws from established, research-backed methods — applied with flexibility for where each individual actually is in their recovery.

Tap the button again to close. CBT helps you notice the thought patterns that feed substance use or distress, and build more workable ones in their place — one real situation at a time, not just theory.
DBT skills give you concrete tools for the moments that feel unmanageable: riding out intense emotion, staying present, and handling conflict without it blowing everything up.
Motivational Interviewing isn't about being told what to do. It's a conversation that helps you find your own reasons for change — because those are the ones that actually stick.
Trauma-informed care means every part of your treatment — not just the sessions labeled "trauma" — is built with the understanding that safety and trust have to come first.
Recovery-oriented interventions keep the focus on your life outside the clinic — relationships, work, purpose — not just symptom management.

            A Note From Our Founder

            Teddy G. Browne

LPCMH (DE) · LPC (PA) · MPA · MCAP

I've spent my career in this field, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that people don't fail treatment — treatment systems fail people, by making them jump through hoops when they're already at their most vulnerable. I started New Life Recovery to build something different: care that meets people where they actually are, not where a program says they should be.

Every plan we write, every group we run, comes back to the same idea — change is inevitable, one way or another. Our job is making sure it bends toward healing.

            Where Support Goes

Funding sustains every part of the work

Program development, staffing, clinical operations, community outreach, technology infrastructure, client support services, and quality improvement all depend on committed partners.

            Let's Talk

You don't have to have it figured out before you reach out.

Maybe you're looking for help yourself. Maybe it's someone you love and you don't know where to start. Maybe you run a program and want to talk about working together. Whatever brought you here — just say hello. We'll take it from there.
